1. Warranty Coverage
We offer a standard one-year warranty on all Sentinel Cameras products. Customers may choose to upgrade to a two-year warranty for extended protection. The Sentinel X-2K model includes a two-year warranty by default at no additional cost.
This warranty covers technical faults due to manufacturing defects during normal use. It does not cover any damage or issues resulting from user error, misuse, or external factors outside of our control.
2. Warranty Duration
- Standard Warranty: 1 year from the date of purchase.
- Upgraded Warranty: 2 years from the date of purchase (available for an additional fee).
- Guardian X-2K Warranty: 2 years included automatically with purchase.
3. Warranty Claims
To lodge a warranty claim:
- Email customerservice@sentinelcameras.store
- Include your order number, proof of purchase, and purchase date
- Provide a clear description of the issue
4. Replacement Units
If a valid claim is approved, we will issue a replacement unit at no extra charge. All replacements are subject to product availability and our assessment of the technical fault.
5. Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by improper installation, negligence, accidents, or unauthorized modifications/repairs
- Normal wear and tear, including but not limited to cosmetic damage or weathering
- Damage caused by exposure to liquids, extreme temperatures, or other environmental conditions
- Issues arising from the deletion, rubbing off, or loss of QR codes or serial numbers used to identify the product
- Any loss of functionality resulting from third-party services, including mobile apps, cloud storage, or network platforms, being discontinued, shut down, or otherwise made inaccessible
- Inability to access the product due to app removal, deactivation, or incompatibility with software or services beyond our control
6. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is strictly limited to the replacement of the product under the terms set out above. Under no circumstances shall Sentinel Cameras be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, downtime, loss of security footage, or costs incurred from professional installation or removal.
We are not responsible for any loss of functionality due to deactivation, discontinuation, or modification of software, cloud services, or third-party integrations by the manufacturer or platform provider.
7. Governing Law
This warranty is governed by and construed under the laws of Australia. Nothing in this policy excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
